qualifications and skills required

excellent written and verbal communication skills in simplified chinese (china) into english.
specialization in life sciences, specifically in translating batch record and ethics committee letter documents.
strong attention to detail, spelling, and grammar.
ability to maintain professionalism under tight deadlines.


minimum requirements (must meet one of the following):

a degree in translation, linguistics, or language studies, or an equivalent degree with significant translation training from a recognized institution.
2 years of translation experience + a college degree.
5 years of translation experience (no degree required).
a certificate of competence in translation issued by an appropriate government body.
