in order to meet the translation needs of our international clients, we are currently looking to expand our database of freelance linguists who translates, post edits and proofreads:

from english into german in the following field/specialization:
1. automotive
2. technical-ui terms&user guides

job description
in this job, you will collaborate with our project managers to work and complete translation projects for the above-mentioned subject matters.

qualifications, skills & experience:

1. excellent written and verbal communication skills in english and native or near-native level proficiency in german.
2. specialized in technical-automotive.
3. able to use cat tools.
4. having experience in translation, proofreading and machine translation post editing.
5. acute attention to detail, spelling and grammar.
6. ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines.
7. minimum weekly output: 15,000 words.

candidates must also have any one of the following:
1. a degree in translation, linguistics, or language studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education;
2. 2 years of translation experience and a college degree; 5 years of translation experience and no college degree; or a certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government.

important note:
applicants will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement and complete a translation test, an mtpe test and a proofreading test respectively, and will not be paid.
