on-site freelance in-vehicle infotainment system localization tester/proofreader for norwegian

transperfect is looking for testers/proofreader/consultant with native or near-native foreign language skills in norwegian to join us to provide client support on challenging test problems for software on automobiles.

localization testers contribute to linguistic and layout quality assurance by reviewing text in foreign languages on an in-vehicle infotainment system. testers perform the review in context and provide feedback on the ui text from the end-user’s standpoints to ensure drivers and passengers will experience an in-vehicle infotainment system of high quality. transperfect and its client will provide training and assistance on standard industry tools as well as project instructions.

1.what you need to do:
going onsite to a high-tech company in shanghai to work with an engineer to review ui text in an in-vehicle infotainment system for various screens and apps to ensure the language quality of the text in your native language
available to work continuously for at least 10 standard workdays in working hours to complete the assignment

2.if you:
are a native speaker in norwegian;
are non-native speakers but meet the high-level language proficiency in norwegian.
are someone who owns a driver license from the target market of the language above and once own a car with a modern in-car infotainment system;
are detail-oriented;
have work visa in china if you are native in norwegian;
have experience in consumer technology use and troubleshooting skills;
have experience in translation or localization related to automotive.

applicants will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement and complete a linguistic test.
this is on-site, compensation for travelling and specific location need to be discussed based on specific projects.
